About Our Center
History, objectives and the work we do
Our History
The Piramalaikallar Coordinator Center was formed by elders and young volunteers of the Piramalai Kallar community around Usilampatti to bring scattered village committees under one coordinated body. What began as informal gatherings at temple festivals has grown into an organised centre that keeps records of member families, resolves disputes amicably, supports students and stands beside families in difficulty.
Our Objectives
- Coordinate the villages and family committees of the community under one platform.
- Protect and pass on our traditions, kulatheivam temples and festivals.
- Give every child of the community a fair chance at education.
- Create employment and self-employment opportunities for youth.
- Settle disputes through discussion and unity rather than conflict.
- Stand with families during illness, marriage and emergencies.
Community Activities
Village coordination meetings, temple festival organisation, annual general body meeting, youth clubs, sports events and cultural programmes that keep our traditions alive.
Educational Assistance
Scholarship guidance, admission counselling, notebook and fee support for deserving students, coaching referrals and career guidance camps for school and college students.
Employment Support
Job notifications, skill-training referrals, self-employment and government scheme guidance, and a district-wide network connecting members with employers.
Social Welfare
Marriage assistance, medical emergency help, disaster relief, senior citizen care, legal guidance and support for widowed and single-parent families.
